In November 1982, Hideo Noguchi along with two other insurance agents and three dedicated assistants established Noguchi & Associates, Inc. in a small office. With access to just four insurance carriers, they moved forward.

Committed to fully serve the entire Hawaii business community, the Maui office opened in 1993, followed by the Kauai office in 1997 and the Kamuela office in 1998.

Growth was rapid with the combined talents of CEO Hideo Noguchi, President Richard Nakayama and Vice Chairman Thomas Singlehurst. Together they formed Noguchi Nakayama Singlehurst to continue the goal of building long-lasting relationships with their clients through excellent service.

Today, Noguchi & Associates, Inc. is one of the largest independent agencies in Hawaii, accessing over 150 insurance carriers. With over 50 employees and more than 20 independent insurance agents, Noguchi & Associates, Inc. now offers a wide range of services including a Claims Department, Loss Control consultants and Bonding staff support.
